20 Mile Hike
When: Saturday, May 22, 2010
Where: The Paulinskill Trail, Warren & Sussex County, New Jersey
We will be meeting at the LDW School at 6:30am sharp and will carpool to the northern starting point (near Newton) dropping off cars along the route.
We plan for the hike to take approximately 8-10 hours for all 20 miles to be completed. The longest (and most necessary hike) for your Hiking Merit Badge! Cars will be stationed along the way if we need them.
Please register by the May 18th troop meeting. Please BE PREPARED by bringing sufficient food & water for the hike along with good, comfortable shoes/boots, sunscreen, sunglasses, etc and give us a contact number if your parent(s) won’t be hiking.
The troop will need to bring a first aid kit (with moleskin, Band-Aids, etc.)
